In recent years, due to the large amount of halogen -containing compounds such as Freon, it is stranded over the earth and is decomposed by ultraviolet rays into active halogen. It has a chemical reaction with ozone, causing severe damage to the ozone layer in the atmosphere, and even weak ozone empty holes. According to scientific analysis, every time the ozone molecule is reduced by 1%, the amount of ultraviolet radiation on the surface increases by 2%, and the possibility of human skin cancer will increase by 3%. Therefore, ultraviolet protection has gradually become the focus of attention.

As we all know, people's skin is sunny and sunburned because of the exposure of ultraviolet rays in the sun. UV rays are divided into UVA (wavelength 320-400 nanometer), UVB (wavelength 280-320 nanometer), UVC (wavelength 100-wavelength 100- 280 nanometer). UVC can basically be absorbed by the atmosphere. UVB is absorbed by the surface of the skin. Long -term exposure causes skin aging, and even skin cancer. UVA penetrates the strongest penetration. Sun protection is UVA and UVB.

In people's cognition, the ultraviolet rays in summer are the strongest and need sunscreen most. After the temperature drops, the influence of ultraviolet rays will be weak. But in fact, although the temperature has decreased in autumn, the ultraviolet rays will not decrease. Because the autumn sky is high, the ultraviolet rays are more likely to expose the skin and cause sunburn, especially at noon.

Textile -proof UV action mechanism

Ultraviolet rays are shot on the fabric, part of them are absorbed, part of them are reflected, and some are through fabrics. According to the national standard GB/T 18830-2009, when the UPF> 40 of the textiles and the T (UVA) AV <5%, it can be called "anti-ultraviolet product". The protection principle of ultraviolet rays is to use ultraviolet shielding agents to deal with fiber, yarn or fabrics, and strengthen its absorption and reflection effect on ultraviolet rays to achieve protective effects. In addition, UV prevention agents can not only effectively block ultraviolet rays, but also help prevent the light crispy loss of fabrics and fade in light.

Factors affecting textiles anti -ultraviolet rays

① Fiber types and forms. Wool and polyester fiber have strong ultraviolet anti -ultraviolet capacity, because benzene and aromatic amino acids have better absorption of ultraviolet rays.

② Specifications of fabric organizations. The thick and dense fabric protection effect is good. The gap rate of fabrics is too large and anti -ultraviolet arrangement is not obvious.

③ surface smoothness. The higher the surface of the fabric, the higher the smoothness. The stronger the reflection ability of the fiber, the better the protection effect.

④ fabric color. Dark fabric light transmission is lower than light -colored fabrics.
