Classification of Amino Silicone Oil

Amino silicone oil can be divided into single-ended, double-ended, side-ended, copolymerized and mixed types according to the position of amino in polysiloxane molecule.

According to the end group classification, there are methyl, methoxy and hydroxyl groups such as amino silicone oil. The methyl - terminated amino silicone oil is more suitable for processing cotton and silk fabrics. The hydroxyl-terminated and methoxy-terminated "active amino silicone oil" is suitable for processing animal fibers. According to the classification of amino, there are primary amino (-NH2), secondary amino (-NHCH3), tertiary amino [-N(C2H5)2] and secondary amino (-NHCH2CH2NH2) structure silicone oil.
