In view of the long production process, high water consumption and high energy consumption of traditional polyester/cotton knitted fabric dyeing, this paper uses cationic modification technology to cationically modify polyester/cotton fabrics, and then uses dispersion/active one-bath one-step dyeing method. The surface effect is good, the washing fastness is 4 satin, the perspiration fastness is above 3-4, the rubbing fastness is 4-5, the wet rubbing fastness is above 3, and the light fastness is only 2.5. The bacteriostatic rates of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Candida albicans reached 99.72%, 96.4%, and 96.2%, respectively. In addition, the process has significant effects of saving water, time, and reducing the chromaticity and electrolyte content of wastewater.

The traditional dyeing of polyester/cotton knitted fabrics mostly adopts a two-bath and two-step method, that is, after pretreatment, polyester is dyed first, then washed by reduction, and then overdyed cotton and soaped. Therefore, in order to promote the energy saving and emission reduction of the printing and dyeing industry, a variety of short-process processes have been developed for the dyeing of polyester/cotton knitted fabrics. Electrolyte-resistant disperse dyes and neutral reactive dyes are used to dye polyester/cotton fabrics by one-bath and one-step dyeing. The process time is greatly shortened, and the fastness is the same as that of the two-bath method, but both dyes need to be specially screened; basic disperse dyes are selected. With a bath of multi-functional auxiliaries, the pretreatment and dyeing are carried out in the same bath, and then the cotton and soaping are separately applied, which reduces the pretreatment process, and the fastness can also meet the requirements; some people use dyeing first, then scouring, and then The process of overdyeing cotton and soaping can save the reduction washing process and shorten the production time.
