Gas phase silica, commonly known as "gas phase silica black", is an amorphous silica powder obtained by the combustion of silicon tetrachloride and methyl silicon trioxide in hydrogen and oxygen flame. Its primary particle size is between 7-80nm, and its specific surface area is generally greater than 100m2/g.  

Gas phase silica is one of the most important nano inorganic raw materials. Due to its small particle size, large specific surface area, strong surface adsorption, high chemical purity, good dispersion performance and other specific properties, it shows excellent reinforcement, thickening, thixotropy, insulation, extinction, anti-flow and other properties in the material. Therefore, it is widely used in coatings, ink, adhesives, sealants, grease, rubber, foaming silica gel, unsaturated resin, batteries and other polymer industrial fields, known as "industrial MONOsodium glutamate".
