1. Silicone oil: Silicone oil has a better lubrication effect, but its biggest disadvantage is that it is expensive and has a high cost. It is easy to cause oil floating when used. In response to this problem, ternary copolymer silicone oil has entered the sight of experts and has become a new favorite.
2. Soft flake: Soft flake is mainly composed of fatty acid salts, which is convenient to use, but this type of softener soft flake is used in large quantities and the cost is relatively high. It is not suitable for reducing comprehensive costs and increasing industrial profits. The newcomer of soft film is cationic softener: this product is a cationic surfactant with a special structure. The special structure inhibits its head group separation force in the process of orderly aggregation, greatly improving the surface activity; at the same time, compared with conventional monoalkyl monoquaternary ammonium salts and dialkyl monoquaternary ammonium salts, this product has a very low critical micelle concentration, so the dosage is greatly reduced when the same effect is achieved. It is widely used as a high-efficiency softener, antistatic agent, bulking agent, bactericide; synergist of monoquaternary ammonium salt cationic surfactant.
Softener plus paraffin cannot make flake. The finishing effects of amino silicone oil and softener are two completely different styles, and they are different on different fabrics. Amino silicone oil is a permanent finishing, while softener is a temporary finishing, and they cannot be compared. Softener is mostly a quaternary ammonium salt structure of strong cations, and film is a weak cation structure neutralized by acid. There is no essential difference between the two except that there is a slight difference in electrical adsorption. It is unfounded to say that the effect of softener is twice that of film. If softener and film are evaluated immediately after finishing and drying, softener will be worse than flake. The effect of softener will be shown after moisture resorption. Softener is a strong cationic structure, and yellowing is inevitable. If the formula and process are appropriate, low yellowing can be achieved. If the formula and process are not appropriate, the degree of yellowing is higher than that of flake. Softening oil is made of unsaturated fatty acids. It is well known that the double bond structure of unsaturated fatty acids can provide hydrophilicity. If the formula is improper, the hydrophilicity will be reduced or eliminated.
