Printing paste refers to a polymer compound that can be added to the pigment printing paste to thicken it.
Before the printing paste is added to the pigment printing paste, it is generally a hydrophilic polymer thick colloid solution that is soluble in water or fully swelled and dispersed in water, or an oil / water type or water / oil type emulsion paste. When printing color paste, part of the dye is dissolved in water, and the other part is dissolved, adsorbed or dispersed in the original paste.
As an integral part of color paste, the paste, whose rheological properties are the major factors that affect printing results, determines the shade, color yield, sharp definition, print uniformity and feel of printed fabrics to a large extent.
