Performance and Characteristics

1. It has a high affinity for nylon fibers, and in the early stage of dyeing, it competes with dye anions on the fibers to achieve the purpose of slow dyeing and level dyeing.

2. It has strong migration power, strengthens the migration of dyes in high temperature stage, and can effectively improve the defects such as rungs and stripes.

3. It can improve the penetration ability of dyestuff and obtain good levelness.

4. Low foam.

Recommended Process

1. The general dosage is as follows:

Sylic D2121: 0.15-0.5% (o.w.f), the lighter the color, the greater the dosage.

Temperature and time: 95-120℃, 30-60min.

2. Rework amount: 0.5-1% (o.w.f)

Mixing method: It is recommended to bake first, then at 70-80 ℃, mix the material with a ratio of 1 to 4, stir evenly, and the product after mixing is a brown-yellow transparent liquid.

The specific process should be adjusted by the user through the sample as appropriate.

Level dyeing is achieved by i) controlled exhaustion of the dye so that it is taken up evenly and ii) migration of dye after initially unlevel sorption on the fiber. In some cases level dyeing can be influenced by dye-bath pH and/or presence of electrolytes.
