Dispersing Agent NNO Recommended Process

1. Printing and dyeing industry:

Mainly used for vat dye suspension pad dyeing, leuco acid dyeing, disperse and soluble vat dyes, etc. It can also be used for dyeing silk/wool interwoven fabrics, so that there is no color on the silk. The dye industry is mainly used as a dispersant and diffusion aid in the manufacture of lakes.

   This product can be used as a protective colloid when dyeing with vat dyes and indigo dyes, and as a base color with naphthol. Disperse dyes can be used as diffusing agents when dyeing acetic acid, triacetate, nylon and polyester. When the above synthetic fibers are printed with disperse dyes, this product can be used in the post-washing process to reduce white ground staining.

(1) Dispersant NNO is used as a dispersant and filler for dispersing and vat dyes: when dispersing dyes or vat dyes are finely processed, dispersing agent NNo and dyes can be added to the grinder and sand mill. The amount of dispersant NNO  is 1-6 times that of vat dyes or 3-4 times that of disperse dyes, and part of it can be left as a filler when the dye is commercialized;

(2) Dispersant NNO is used as vat dye dyeing: Suspension pad dyeing method: In the pad dyeing bath, the dispersant NNO is generally added 3-5 g/l, and the dispersant NNO is generally added 15-20 g/l in the reducing bath. Liter; leuco acid method: general dispersant NNO dosage is 2-3 g/liter;

(3) Dispersant NNO is used for dyeing with disperse dyes: 0.5-1.5 g/l can be added to the dyeing bath during high-temperature and high-pressure dyeing of polyester;

(4) Dispersant NNO is used as ice dye dyeing: to improve leveling and friction fastness, the amount of dispersant NNO for naphthol base bath is generally 2-5 g/l, and the amount of dispersant for color developing bath is generally 0.5 -2 g/l.

2. Building materials industry:

Used as a cement water reducing early strength agent, the amount is 0.5-1%, after cement shock, the cement has a good dispersion effect and strengthens the cement strength. The dispersant NNO improves the tensile, impermeability, frost resistance and compressive elastic modulus of concrete, and has no corrosion effect on steel bars.

3. Agricultural industry:

It can be widely used in wettable pesticides, has good dispersing and solubilizing effects, and can significantly improve the efficacy. The dosage can be determined according to product requirements. Example: Promethazine, the dosage is 3-5%; Thiophanate-methyl dosage is 0.8-1.5%, and Kaishuling is 0.8-1%.

4. Electroplating industry:

Adding dispersant NNO in color electroplating can make the pigments evenly dispersed, which can significantly improve the brightness of the electroplated surface. The dosage is generally 10% of the pigment.

5. Rubber industry:

In the production process of the rubber (latex) industry. For dispersing substances such as sulfur accelerators, antioxidants, zinc oxide fillers (such as barium sulfate, calcium carbonate), etc., the dispersion effect can be improved and the ball milling time can be shortened. Add the dispersant NNO 2-4% based on the weight of the dry powder. The dispersant is made into a 10% solution in advance, and then ground together with other components in a ball mill to improve the dispersion effect and shorten the ball milling time.

FAQ

FAQ

  • What are the agents of dispersion?

    The agents of dispersal of seeds are wind, water, animals, gravity and explosion.

  • What is dispersing agent give example?

    For example, soap powder, Turkey Red oil, alkali sulphates, alkyl aryl sulphonates etc. are some surface active agents which are recommended as dispersing agents in disperse dyeing. Functions of Dispersing Agents: It assists in the process of particle size reduction of dye.

  • What are the functions of dispersing agent in dyeing?

    In this dye bath, dispersing agent which disperses dyestuff evenly in the bath and leveling agent which enables to dye more than some hundred meter of fabric are added with water and disperse dye. NICCA combines these two chemicals in one agent for better workability.

  • How do I choose a dispersing agent?

    The first question to answer when selecting your dispersing agent is whether you need electrostatic or steric repulsion. The answer is highly dependent on the system you formulate: Is it solvent-based? Water-based? If your paint medium is apolar (solvent-based paints), the answer is simple.

  • What are the different types of dispersing agent?

    Several well-known dispersants: polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP), sodium hexameta phosphate (SHP), the sodium salt of EDTA (EDTA-Na), sodium dodecyl sulfonate (SDS), and sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS), were introduced to obtain a highly dispersed catalyst.
