Industry Pain Points

The deep finishing process of dark denim generally faces challenges such as a whitish haze on the fabric surface and difficulty in achieving both color deepening and softness. Separate processing steps are often required, increasing production costs. Meanwhile, traditional auxiliaries may contain formaldehyde and APEO, making them unable to meet environmental requirements for export markets.

To address these challenges, we have developed two cationic silicone-based integrated deepening and softening agents: Sylic FU5622 Bluish Color Deepening Agent and Sylic FU5627 (D673) Reddish Color Deepening Agent. These products simultaneously deliver enhanced color depth and brightness, a smooth and soft hand feel, excellent environmental safety, and broad process adaptability. They provide an ideal standardized finishing solution for dark denim, cotton, polyester/cotton, nylon, and other dark-colored fabrics.

Product Performance

  • Mainly used for the deepening treatment of dark-colored cotton, polyester, and nylon fabrics dyed with sulfur black, providing a bluish (reddish) tone effect.
  • Provides a smooth and soft hand feel with little impact on color fastness.
  • Environmentally friendly, formaldehyde-free and APEO-free.

Product Mechanism

Application Range

Suitable for cotton fibers, wool, sulfur black/reactive dyed cotton, T/C, denim, and other textile fibers, providing excellent bluish deepening effects and improved hand feel.

Application Method

Padding Process: 10–50 g/L
Drying: 100–180℃

Exhaust Process: 1–5% o.w.f
Drying: 80–130℃

Application Effect

Laboratory Process:
Padding with the color deepening agent working solution, followed by heat setting at 130℃.

Black Denim Deepening Effect:

Based on the black denim deepening effect analysis, FU5627 shows a reddish deepening effect, while FU5622 provides a bluish deepening effect. The bluish deepening effect is more pronounced. Both products can be selected according to the desired color tone effect.
