What is the spandex oil agent

Polyurethane elastic fiber (SPANDEX) is a kind of high performance fiber with high elongation and high elastic recovery rate, which has been widely used in textile and garment field.  But because there are a carbamate in the molecular structure of spandex, urea base formic acid ester polar groups, such as making easy happening because of the action of hydrogen bond between fiber silk adhesion, thus brings to the processing application after difficulty, and good spandex agent can not only give spandex in spinning good formability and cluster, but also gives good smoothness and antistatic spandex silk,  After the application of spandex easy to rewind, continuous silk, not collapsing edge.

Due to the requirements of the spinning process and the subsequent manufacturing process of spandex, spandex oil agent has the following basic characteristics:

(1) viscosity: at present, the kinematic viscosity of most spandex oil agents (25 ℃) is controlled between 8~15 mm2 /s.

(2) color: spandex oil agent is basically colorless and transparent, can avoid causing spandex silk color yellow.

(3) Conductivity: the conductivity of most spandex oils is between 1×10-5~1×10-1 US /cm.

(4) surface tension: the surface tension of general spandex oil agent is less than 0.050N /m.

(5) pH: the pH of spandex oil agent is generally controlled at about 6~8, which is neutral.

(6) washable: a certain amount of emulsifier is often added to the formula of spandex oil agent, so that the oil agent is easy to be cleaned thoroughly.
