According to the different crosslinking system, it can be divided into condensation type and additive forming two kinds.

Condensed silicone release agent

Condensed silicone release agent was first used industrially in 1954. The real catalyst in condensed organosilicon release agent is dibutyltin. With the European Union's restriction on dibutyltin and dioctyl tin compounds 2009/425 / EC coming into effect on January 1, 2012, the release coating applications in contact with human body and food will be restricted in the future.

Silicone release agent is added

The additive organosilicone release agent was first used in the industry in 1975. It is mainly the cross-linking curing of dimethylpolysiloxane with vinyl through the silohydrogen addition reaction with the cross-linking agent containing silohydrogen bond under the catalysis of the metal platinum compound. Compared with the condensation type, the additive silicone release agent has many advantages: (1) easy molecular design, that is, easy to control the molecular weight of the polymer and crosslinking degree, so as to obtain the desired release effect; (2) Suitable for the preparation of solvent-free, emulsion release agents, these two types of release agents represent the future trend; (3) There will be no cross-linking in the process of storage and transportation, and the product quality can be easily guaranteed.
