Application

Can be used for reactive printing of natural fibers such as cotton, ramie, flax, bamboo fiber, etc., protein fibers and modal fibers.

Recommended Process


1. Reactive printing recipe:

Water: X g

Urea:  5-10g

Resist salt:   1g

Sodium hexametaphosphate: 0.5 - 1g

Sodium bicarbonate: 1 - 3g

PR4201: 1 - 2g (used with sodium alginate)

Reactive dyes: Y g

Total: 100 g


2. Process flow: Paste preparation—Rotary or flat screen printing-Drying(100-110℃, 1.5-2 min)-Steaming (101-105℃, 8-10 min) — Washing.

Note: Suggest stirring before use, detailed process should be adjusted according to preliminary tries.


Operating and safety instructions:


1. Suggest weighing and diluting separately when preparing the solution, then add respectively and stir fully.

2. Strongly recommend using soft water in dilution, if soft water is not available, the stability needs to be tested before making the solution.

3. After dilution, it should not be stored for a long time.

4. To ensure the safety, you should review our Material Safety Data Sheets before using this product under special conditions. Before handling any other products mentioned in the text, you should obtain available product safety information and take necessary steps to ensure safety of use.

  • What is textile thickener?

    Thickeners used in textile printing are high molecular weight viscous compounds gave a sticky paste with water, which impart stickiness and plasticity to the printing paste. These thickeners facilitate to preserve the design outlines without spreading even under high pressure.


  • Why thickener is used in printing?


    Thickeners impart adhesivity and plasticity to the printing paste which can be applied on to the fabric without spreading and hold- ing the dye molecule at the desired place until the transfer of dye into the fabric and its fixation are complete.
